HOPA Named World’s Best Dry Bulk Port

The Hamilton-Oshawa Port Authority (HOPA) has been named the world’s Best Dry Bulk Port. The award was presented at the International Bulk Journal (IBJ) Awards gala in London, England, on November 20th.

Other nominees for the Best Dry Bulk Port Award included North Sea Port in Belgium, Netherlands; the Port of Rotterdam in Netherlands; Port of Port Hedland in Pilbara Ports, Australia; and RAK Ports in United Arab Emirates.

In addition to HOPA, Thordon Bearings was awarded the Environmental Protection Award and LOGISTEC won the Best Specialist Dry Bulk Port or Terminal award.
