Hundreds Attend the 2025 Maritime Career Day

The National Museum of the Great Lakes welcomed nearly 450 students and more than 30 community members to its 2025 Maritime Career Day. The event took place on October 28.

The attendees were connected with more than 30 career partners from industries across the Great Lakes region—including shipping, logistics, environmental research, engineering and more. Presented by World Group Foundation, the event encouraged attendees to explore diverse maritime careers and embrace the message shared by National Museum of the Great Lakes Executive Director Kate Fineske: If you can see it, you can be it.”
