Marinette Marine Gets New CEO, Allman Promoted
Mark Vandroff is the new Mark Vandroff CEO for Fincantieri Marinette Marine, effective July 7. He replaces Jan Allman who has led the Wisconsin shipyard since 2014. She accepted a promotion to senior vice president of public affairs and community relations for Fincantieri Marine Group and is based in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
Vandroff, a retired Navy captain, brings a wealth of naval shipbuilding experience to the team responsible for designing and building the Navy’s Constellation-class frigates. He has been with Fincantieri Marine Group since early in 2021 as senior vice president of business development.
Erika Jensen Named Great Lakes Commission Executive Director
Erika Jensen, who has Erika Jensen served as interim executive director of the Great Lakes Commission (GLC) since August 2020, has been appointed executive director. Jensen joined the GLC in 2006, and she is GLC’s first female executive director since it was established in 1955.
Jensen previously oversaw the aquatic invasive species prevention and control program and coordinated both the Great Lakes Panel on Aquatic Nuisance Species and the Invasive Mussel Collaborative. She has a master’s degree in environmental management from Duke University and a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University.
