Successful Cruise Season for Port of Québec

By GLSR Staff  |  Cruising, Latest News, Passenger Vessels
The Port of Québec welcomed more than 154,000 cruise passengers during the 2023 cruising season. Twenty-eight cruise lines and 41 different ships, including 11 that were on their maiden voyage, visited a total of 131 times over the season, which ran from April 25 to November 5–the longest in the port’s history.

The 2023 season also notched a record 32 boarding/unboarding operations. Unlike ship stopovers with passengers leaving the ship for a few hours to sightsee, a board and unboarding operation marks the end of a trip and the beginning of another. Thanks to its new Cruise Terminal 30, inaugurated last summer, the Port of Québec was able to effectively accommodate the large number of visitors.
